PAE's National Aviation Maintenance and Logistics contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection employs hundreds of the best aircraft mechanics at 34 unique sites across the continental United States and Puerto Rico. The company's go-to specialists on sheet metal are two mechanics working more than 1,600 miles apart. The customer often requests Joshua Snow in Tucson, Arizona, and Casey Bell in Bellingham, Washington, to perform critical aviation repairs requiring the most skill.

Business Development Analyst Elizabeth Baldwin believes that technology can and should be manipulated to solve unique business problems. So when she recognized that she could automate dashboards within business development tool Salesforce, which helps track of PAE's opportunities, she took it in stride.

"I really enjoy solving those problems and making it easier for everyone," Baldwin said. "No one needs to do extra work when technology is there to make administrative tasks easier. This allows us to be more efficient with our time."

PAE has been accepted as a member of the National Spectrum Consortium, a research and development organization that facilitates synergies among its members from industry, academia and government to develop electromagnetic spectrum technologies for 5G implementation. The consortium was recently granted the U.S. Department of Defense Spectrum Forward Other Transaction Agreement, an effort worth up to $2.5 billion to develop, adopt and deploy next-generation technologies, including 5G and spectrum access solutions.

The PAE aircraft maintenance team supporting the VFC-13 unit of the U.S. Navy’s F-5 Adversary Program in Fallon, Nevada, received three awards in recognition of their exceptional performance in a recent external maintenance audit. Only one Golden Wrench, Battle E and Battle S award are given each year. In 2020, the Navy awarded the PAE team in Fallon all three.

PAE has been named as one of three prime contractors on the U.S. Department of State’s potential ten-year, $3.3 billion Global Support Strategy 2.0 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, the company reported on Wednesday.
