ROSSLYN, Va., June 22nd, 2010 -- Pacific Architects & Engineers (PAE), a Lockheed Martin company, has been selected as one of four awardees for the State Department's Africa Contingency Operations Training & Assistance (ACOTA) program, an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling value of $500 million over five years.

Under ACOTA, PAE will compete with the other awardees for task orders for training and equipping African peacekeepers, mentoring and advising host country peacekeeping trainers, and upgrading facilities used bythese forces.

ARLINGTON, Va., March 29th, 2010 -- Three Djiboutian businesses successfully completed a pilot entrepreneur training program last week, the result of a partnership between PAE, a Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] company, Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management and the U.S. military at Camp Lemonnier.

The "Empowerment through Entrepreneurship" pilot program connects local PAE employees and resident members of the military with small businesses in Djibouti, helping them to develop sustainable business practices and bring increased activity and stability into the local economy.

ARLINGTON, Va., February 16th, 2010 -- PAE, a Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] company, has successfully concluded its role supporting the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) electoral observation mission in Ukraine.

Under a State Department contract, PAE provided over 120 highly-skilled professionals to serve as observers for the just-concluded presidential elections in that country.

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 29, 2009 - PAE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation [NYSE: LMT], has been selected to compete for future task orders under the Department of State Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP). PAE is one of four awardees for this five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. The maximum ceiling for each awardee is $375 million (inclusive of all costs and fee) over the life of the contract.
