PAE Awarded Contract to Support the United States Postal Service in Chicago

ARLINGTON, VA., April 17, 2015 – PAE, a leading provider of enduring support for essential global missions, has been awarded a contract from the United States Postal Service to support the Chicago Mail Transport Equipment Service Center (MTESC). The value of the contract is $90.4M, with a period of performance of seven years; three base years and two, two-year option periods.

Under the contract, PAE will process, store and ship Mail Transport Equipment (MTE), ensuring an adequate supply of MTE is available for use at nearby Postal Service facilities and for their customers. The Chicago facility is the largest MTESC in the U.S. with 16.5 acres under one roof. PAE has provided support for the Postal Service since 1998, and with the addition of the Chicago facility, PAE now supports a total of eight MTESC sites to also include: Los Angeles, CA; Jacksonville, FL; Des Moines, IA; Detroit, MI; Minneapolis, MN; Philadelphia, PA; and Milwaukee, WI.
