PAE Awarded Contract to Support Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)
ARLINGTON, Va., April 23, 2012 – PAE announced today that it has been awarded the Rapid Expert Assistance and Cooperation Teams (REACT) III contract with a maximum value of $65M over the course of five years by the U.S. Department of State, in support of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
“PAE has supported the OSCE through REACT since 2000, and we are proud to continue that tradition,” said Mike Dignam, CEO of PAE. “We take great pride and honor in the role that our civilian experts play in the OSCE missions that promote democratic processes and fundamental freedoms.”
In the twelve years that PAE has supported the REACT program, the company has successfully recruited, hired and deployed 3,676 seconded experts and election monitors to more than 250 OSCE missions in over 22 countries throughout Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
As part of its contracted obligation to the Department of State, PAE strives to ensure that the experts and monitors identified will not only meet DoS requirements, but are also most likely to be selected from among those experts offered by all participating OSCE nations to take part in upcoming missions. PAE’s ability to meet and exceed the Department of State’s requests for highly-specialized personnel on short notice has earned it a reputation as the most efficient seconding authority with which the OSCE works.
