ARLINGTON, Va., January 23, 2017 - Mark Monroe, who formerly served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of Deltek, has been named as PAE's new Corporate Controller, effective today.
"Mark brings over 30 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in public accounting and internal controls function," said PAE CEO John Heller. "His expertise and proven success in these areas aligns perfectly to support our growth strategy."
In his previous role at Deltek, Mark led the company's global accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis, and corporate governance functions. During his tenure, he helped lead the financial diligence and directed the accounting and successful integration of six acquisitions, which helped substantially grow the business.
Prior to Deltek, Mark served as the Vice President of Internal Audit and Chief Audit Officer at SafeNet (now Gemalto), where he established and led the internal audit function for the cyber-security company. Mark also led a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort in advance of an expected Initial Public Offering. Before joining SafeNet, Mark served as Controller at Intervoice, Inc. and Aegis Communications Group, Inc., both publicly traded companies. Mark earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
