NSS Employees Volunteer at Local D.C. Food Drive

National Security Solution employees helped set up food and clothing distribution sites for the "Feeding Our Relatives" food drive program held by The Distant Relatives organization in late September. The program provides hot meals, healthy snacks, toiletries, health screenings, gently used clothes and free haircuts on the last Saturday of each month.

The Distant Relatives program is committed to supporting underserved communities around the world by creating opportunity and access to resources. The "Feeding Our Relatives" monthly program aims to assist homeless people living in Washington by distributing food that The Distant Relatives associates described as healthy and homemade.

These generous volunteers encompassed how our holiday motto of 'Gratitude is Our Attitude' can be used year-round. The following employees volunteered at the event and can be found in the photos below: Senior Business Manager Timothy Bennett, Graphic Designer Pedro Kennedy, Program Director Bill Lagergren, Human Resources Supervisor Genita McKinney, Human Resources Senior Manager Patricia Murphy, Business Developer Robert Nealon, Program Security Assistant Audrey Roncevich, Principal Research Analyst Amber Torney, GSCM Buyer Brianna Wheatley and Executive Assistant Svetlana Wright.
