PAE employee and Knoxville lawyer Marsha Mitchell has had a career of which most in her field would be envious. Throughout her 30-plus years as a criminal prosecutor and private attorney, Mitchell has worked in Tennessee, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Liberia, trying a wide variety of criminal cases, including homicide, sex offenses, child abuse and white-collar crimes.
Marsha has supported PAE's Justice Sector Support Program since 2009. She currently serves as a sexual- and gender-based violence adviser in Monrovia, Liberia, assisting and mentoring prosecutors and training police officers assigned to the sexual- and gender-based violence unit. She previously worked as a senior anti-corruption adviser in Afghanistan from 2009-2010.
