Our company has been known by “PAE” for decades. The official name of the original legal entity which was incorporated in California in 1955 is Pacific Architects & Engineers Incorporated. At this time, our company was heavily engaged in the rebuilding of Japan after WWII. Over the years, we have added many more capabilities to our portfolio and have expanded the scope of our operations beyond the Pacific theater. However, the name PAE remains, as a reference to our origins and our decades of proud service to the U.S. government. For more information on PAE's history, please visit Our History page.

PAE transitioned to a new applicant tracking system in 2015. If you completed a profile on PAE’s career site prior to November 22, 2015, the username and password will not work, and you will need to create a brand new profile when prompted on our site.

You will receive a notice via email that we have received your application. A member of our recruiting team will review your qualifications and reach out if you are a potential match for the position. Due to the high volume of applications we receive in response to our postings, we are not able to provide status updates to all applicants who are not selected.
You can check the status of your application at any time through the "My Job Page" tab in your applicant tracking system profile. Once you are in your job section, select the "My Submissions" tab and you can view all positions you applied to and the status of each submission.
PAE accepts and hires candidates from many countries around the world. Certain programs may have citizenship requirements that will be listed in the position descriptions on our Career Page.

Yes. Not all of PAE's open positions require a security clearance and some positions only require that you are eligible to obtain a clearance. Each job description will state specific security clearance requirements. If you are in doubt about the clearance requirements for a particular opening but you are otherwise qualified, it is best to apply. You may then clarify the requirement with one of our recruiters if you are contacted for a phone screen.
