What does PAE mean?

Our company has been known by “PAE” for decades. The official name of the original legal entity which was incorporated in California in 1955 is Pacific Architects & Engineers Incorporated. At this time, our company was heavily engaged in the rebuilding of Japan after WWII. Over the years, we have added many more capabilities to our portfolio and have expanded the scope of our operations beyond the Pacific theater. However, the name PAE remains, as a reference to our origins and our decades of proud service to the U.S. government. For more information on PAE's history, please visit Our History page.

Where does PAE operate?

PAE operates in over 60 countries, on all seven continents. Please refer to our Global Footprint map to view the location of our current operations.

How can I apply for a job?

Please visit our Career Page for a full listing of our current openings and to submit an application. Check our website often as our openings change frequently. Please note that we are unable to accept resumes or CVs via email. 

I completed a profile in the past but I am having trouble logging in. What should I do?

PAE transitioned to a new applicant tracking system in 2015. If you completed a profile on PAE’s career site prior to November 22, 2015, the username and password will not work, and you will need to create a brand new profile when prompted on our site. 

Do I need to create an account to browse openings?

No, you can search our job openings as a visitor by visiting our Career Page.

Do you accept resumes or CVs by email?

No, unfortunately, we are unable to accept resumes or CVs via email. However, we invite you to visit our Career Page for a full listing of our current openings and to apply. Please check our website often as our openings change frequently.   

After I apply for a specific position, what happens next?

You will receive a notice via email that we have received your application. A member of our recruiting team will review your qualifications and reach out if you are a potential match for the position. Due to the high volume of applications we receive in response to our postings, we are not able to provide status updates to all applicants who are not selected.

I've already submitted my resume. How can I check the status of my application?

You can check the status of your application at any time through the "My Job Page" tab in your applicant tracking system profile. Once you are in your job section, select the "My Submissions" tab and you can view all positions you applied to and the status of each submission. 

Do you have to be a U.S. citizen to apply for positions within PAE?

PAE accepts and hires candidates from many countries around the world. Certain programs may have citizenship requirements that will be listed in the position descriptions on our Career Page

If I created a profile through the PAE Talent Network, do I need to create a second profile on the PAE career site to apply to a job opening?

Yes, as these are two separate systems. Through the Talent Network, you can sign up to receive alerts regarding new job opportunities that match your interests. Once you are ready to apply for one of our opportunities, you must complete a profile on our Career Page in order to submit an application. 

Can I apply from my mobile phone?

Yes, you can apply from a mobile device.

What should I do if I’ve encountered some technical issues regarding my application?

If you experience technical issues with our career website, please e-mail our recruiting team at jobs@pae.com and include “Careers Site Technical Problem” in the e-mail subject line.

I forgot to upload my resume with my application. OR; I uploaded the wrong resume with my application. How can I get this uploaded/attached to my application/profile?

Please email jobs@pae.com, attach your resume and include “Forgot to Attach Resume” in the e-mail subject line. Please note: A resume submission to this mailbox is not considered an application, and you must have already applied online to a position in order to be considered.

How can I update my personal/contact information in my profile?

Please email jobs@pae.com  for assistance and include “Update Contact Info” in the e-mail subject line.

I don’t see a position that fits my interest. How often are they updated?

If you have not found the right job for you after browsing our openings, we recommend you join PAE’s Talent Network to receive periodic e-mail notifications with newly posted jobs that match your interests. 

How do I increase my chances of working with PAE?

Please visit our Career Page and search for open positions that may be of interest to you. In the description, any and all requirements will be listed. PAE does not accept resumes that are e-mailed to the jobs@pae.com inbox or other PAE e-mail addresses. All applicants must apply online through the career site. 

Can I apply for a position if I don't have a security clearance?

Yes. Not all of PAE's open positions require a security clearance and some positions only require that you are eligible to obtain a clearance. Each job description will state specific security clearance requirements. If you are in doubt about the clearance requirements for a particular opening but you are otherwise qualified, it is best to apply. You may then clarify the requirement with one of our recruiters if you are contacted for a phone screen.
